The Royal Dialogue On the SDGs
His Royal Majesty together with the Minister Of Planning launched a declaration called The Royal Dialogue on the SDGs at a colorful ceremony yesterday at the Royal Palace in Kumasi. A Presentation of the Declaration of the Royal dialogue on the SDGs was made to Mr. Edward Effah, CEO of Fidelity Bank, the co-sponsors of the Royal dialogue and another Presentation of the declaration by His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll was also made to Hon Frema Osei-Opare,the Chief of staff who received it on behalf of the office of the President.
The Royal dialogue on the SDGs is the 2nd in the series of Breakfast meetings with CEOs from both the private sector and public-sector institutions.
The Royal dialogue was organized under the Royal patronage of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll, the Asantehene in an interactive dialogue on key imperatives for achieving the SDGs.
It was organized by the SDGs Advisory Unit of the OoP and sponsored by Fidelity Bank and Deloitte.
Objectives: Specifically, the Royal dialogue among others sought to get the private sector and Nananom to more strongly embrace the agenda and incorporate the goals in their corporate strategies and activities.
Venue: Manhyia Palace
Outcome: The overarching outcome was a Kumasi Declaration on the SDGs in honour of Busumuru Kofi Annan, which is to be shared by the Prez, HE Nana Akufo-Addo with the UN Secretary Gen and fellow advocates.
